    Kopia ist verdammt komplex und kann ganz viel, also eine Menge Neues zum Testen 😉

    Ich habe einen Kopia-Server im Internet am Laufen und möchte diesen jetzt mit dem Kopia-UI mit Backups füttern. Aber wie??

    Evt. kann man das mit dem Token erreichen, aber den dazu nötigen Befehl kann ich nicht ausführen!?

    Aber, bei meiner ganzen Testerei ist mir was aufgefallen. Wenn man eine Verbindung zu einem Repository stehen hat, z.B. über CLI aufgabaut, dann benutzt Kopia-UI diese Verbindung.

    kopia repo connect server --url=https://URL:51515 --override-username=USER --override-hostname=HOSTNAME

    Neustart von Kopia-UI bringt folgendes Fenster.

    Man sieht jetzt ein paar Backups und kann auch damit arbeiten. Was nicht funktioniert, ist das rot eingerahmte. Ich denke, das was ich hier mache ist so vermutlich gar nicht vom Coder geplant!? Mir ist dazu auch noch ein anderes Problem aufgefallen, was ich gemeldet habe.

    Sicherlich hat Kopia noch eine Menge Baustellen, aber insgesamt macht es einen tollen Ersteindruck.

    Bleibt noch etwas wichtiges. Die ganzen Konfigurationsdateien vom Proxmox Host. Sinnvoll, das man sich das sichert.

    Ich habe mich damit noch ein wenig beschäftigt, die letzten drei zu behalten, ist nicht so optimal. Da es viele Optionen bei dem Befehl gibt, hier ein Ausschnitt

    Flags: -l, --keep-last n keep the last n snapshots -H, --keep-hourly n keep the last n hourly snapshots -d, --keep-daily n keep the last n daily snapshots -w, --keep-weekly n keep the last n weekly snapshots -m, --keep-monthly n keep the last n monthly snapshots -y, --keep-yearly n keep the last n yearly snapshots

    habe ich das ein wenig so angepasst, das ich denke es passt für mich.

    restic --password-file /root/passwd -r /media/NAS_neu/Restic/Home/ forget --keep-last 3 --keep-monthly 3 --prune

    Damit behalte ich auch die jeweils eines pro Monat. Und die letzten drei. Das sieht dann so aus.

    Am Ende seht ihr noch, wie Restic alle Files testet. Mein Script sieht jetzt so aus.
